This was our biggest show (discounting Laramie and Missoula, where we have an unfair advantage). There were tons of kids there. I'm guessing that's because the Candy Snatchers and Wesley Willis were on the bill. The both cancelled after most everyone had paid, so we made a killing. I really wanted to see the Candy Snatchers cause I think they stole my old bass guitar. We shall see. Anyway, we played with 9 bands or something. The ones that stuck out were The Mystery Girls, The Tantrums, The Wrongways, Infanticide and The Electric Co. The Electric Co. was awesome! It was 3 brothers (ages 15, 18, 20) and they were prodigies. It was like if you took 3 virtuosos and then only let them listen to early YES and Pink Floyd. No shit! |
