Part 2

On our second day in San Francisco we headed to Tim Green's Louder Studios. For those of you unfamiliar with Tim Green, go out and buy "The Fucking Champs" now! I mean it....the computer will still be here when you come back. So *ack* with that out of the way.... Louder Studios is located in the basement of Tim's house. The studio is absolutely amazing. There were plenty of toys for us to play with....including a piano and vibes. Both consequently were used on the record we recorded. We spent three full days at Louder recording and mixing the new material. All in all we're very pleased with the way it turned out. Keep an eye out for this record/e.p. around December. It'll be released on Wantage USA, and will be available on this site if not in your home town. Here's some shots of us in the studio.

Well here's a few random photos from San Francisco that don't really fit in anywhere else. Why don't you view them here!

Besides recording, we had two shows in the bay area. The first show was in Oakland at the Stork Club. This place was seriously crazy. The entire bar walls were lined with Barbie Dolls.....still in their plastic birth place. Other decorations included: a Christmas tree and decorations from every major American holiday. We were very fortunate to play with Drunk Horse at this show. Drunk Horse reside in the Oakland area, and from what from I understood, they rarely play this venue. Not only did these fellas bring in the crowd, but they gave us their cut of the door. Look out for their Prince covers to be released on Wantage USA. Here's some photos of the Stork Club.

The last show in the bay area was at Kimos in San Francisco. Apparently this place is or used to be a transvestite bar. I wasn't too impressed with their policy on paying bands. The bar took forty percent of the door. What was left over after that was split amongst the bands. Pretty raw deal eh? The highlight of this show....was the appearance of Cyrus, the bass player for Drunk Horse. He said he'd been listening to our CD all day and playing Video Games. He wanted to catch our set so he could hear Videogamin'. Unfortunately he just missed it, but it was nice of him to come down and support us. There are no photos of this place....sorry.
