DRIVING TO SAN FRANCISCO
It's roughly noon. Here's what we've eaten so far.
Shane) Oatmeal raisin cookie and throat coat tea. 2 cheese curds.
Doug) Garlic bagel with cream cheese, greens and cherry tomatoes. Coffee. 2 pork tacos from a gas station.
Bob) Sourdough rolls and garlic bagel with greens and cherry tomatoes. Cheese curds. Large espresso coffee.
Bryan) Poppy seed bagel with greens and tomatoes, 1 pork taco and 1
shredded beef taco from the same gas station as Doug. Coffee
Bacon) Garlic bagel with cream cheese, greens and tomatoes (that was the theme this morning, apparently). Coffee.
That was no more than 1 hour ago. Guess what Bob and Doug have
been talking about for the last 45 minutes. Yup. You
guessed it. Food. We've been doing a lot of talking this
tour about Bob's menu for his new restaurant. I can't friggin'
wait for that place to open up. Every minute of talking about it
in the ambulance is going to make it taste that much better.
