DRIVING TO EUREKA
I think we are 1/2-3/4 of the way to Eureka and it's been a lazy day so
far. A lot of sleeping and blank staring in the ambulance
today. The highlight has been a rad lunch at a whole foods
grocery store. I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and
cheese with an Odwalla juice and some throat coat tea (of
course). Doug had a slice of pizza, some salad and a Panini
sandwich. Bryan had the same, I think. Bob had a slice of
pizza, a salad, some sushi and a box of "chocolate chewy walnut"
cookies that we all enjoyed. Bacon had squid salad, a normal
salad, corn chowder and some Ahi Tuna jerky. Oh yeah, Bacon also
mistakenly bought some Kambucho/cranberry drink, not knowing what
Kambucho was. The surprise on his face was pretty pronounced.
NOTE: For those that don't know, Kambucho is some sort of health drink
that is made up of some kind of fermented yeast cultures of
something. It tastes like fizzy, salty, vinegar with
cranberry. And, if you are expecting that, it actually is quite
refreshing.
