SAN FRANCISCO RULES (finally)
We just found Internet (it's been impossible on this tour) so I wanted
to update the diary with last night's show. So far, I've been
writing these on the road and uploading when we manage to find
access. I'll flesh 'em all out later with pictures and more
words, but the general idea is this.
San Francisco freakin' ruled last night. Thee Parkside is a rad
bar and there were tons of people at the show, especially considering
that the Noise Pop fest was going on at the same time and the Flaming
Lips were playing it. I think our crowd was due to Total
BS. Total BS is most of the guys from Drunk Horse was a new
singer. They do Bob Seger covers if you can believe that. I
never knew how much I apparently love Bob Seger? Some old
friends showed up and made the night complete. Tim Green and his
beautiful girlfriend Sonja were there and they were a welcome
sight. Marjorie <sp>was also there, as was Josh Higham and
a few other folks that I'm forgetting now. Oh yeah.
Beau! Beau and his buddy drove down from San Jose and Bo nearly
missed getting back in time for work at the evil empire of
Microsoft. Thanks guys! Josh let us camp out on his
floor and we played dice until the wee hours. Doug fell asleep
and we drew angry eyebrows on him. Tee hee. We also wrote
"Hi guy!" on his forehead. Needless to say, he was pissed this
morning. -Volumen-1 P.S. More to come.
