Alright...I'm starting to realize that I should of finished this diary a little sooner. I'm not remembering the details of our voyage as clearly as I did when I started this schmeel. Maybe I'll just make some shit up. So...after arriving in Eureka in our personal jet, we could only think about one thing...caviar. Boy I could spin some yarn about trying to find some good caviar in these Podunk towns. But back to the real story. We rolled into Eureka early Sunday evening. At this point we all were pretty pessimistic about the chances of having a good show period. We pulled up to the venue and it was closed. There weren't even flyers up for the show. So Doug got on the horn and tried to figure out what the hell was going on. This is when the rest of the band discovered our favorite game, which entailed throwing grapes at Doug while he was on the phone, to see if he could catch them in his mouth. I think he caught one...the rest were just bouncing off his face. It was a much needed giggle-fest for the crew. Eventually we got everything figured out, and headed back to the club. It turned out to be a pretty good show for a Sunday night. The opening band Casio Collision was pretty great. They had two keyboard players and a guitar player. The drummer played on a toy kit and sang. They were all really nice fellas...they even offered to put us up. When we got to their place though...we all realized we were in no mood to sleep on a couch or the floor, so we opted to stay in the same hotel as our last visit. I wish I could remember more hilarious situations from our visit to Eureka, but that was way back in April doods. Give me a break people...I'm no Dr. Mindbender!
