Seattle

Well this tour started off much like the rest of em'. We played a gig at The Ritz here in Missoula the night before we left. This was our first Ritz show in awhile where we had an opening act. The Oblio Joes stepped up and played a hell of a show with their new bass player, John Fleming. The next morning after shaking off some of the fuzziness from the night before, we headed west to Seattle. While driving to Seattle we enjoyed a Tofurky Roast that Bob had made the night before. I swear I've never seen Chris eat as much as he does when there's a Tofurky around. He goes ape shit for that stuff. About an hour into the drive we were passed by Mike Vanecek. Mike had notified us some days before we left that he was going to follow us on his motorcycle for the whole tour. He was great having him around to help us out at shows...loading gear, selling merch, drinking our beer, etc. We arrived in Seattle in the early evening and went straight to the Chop Suey...which is a fairly new club in Seattle. It was definitely the nicest place we've ever played in Seattle. We always have the worst shows in that town, but this one wasn't too bad. We played with our friends the Mines and some other doods who call themselves Houston. Their drummer was a nice enough guy, but the rest of them just hung out in the green room all night...too cool to watch the other bands or even say hi for that matter. Oh well it's their loss. After the show I hung out with an old friend and reminisced till the early morn. The rest of the crew hung out with our old Missoula pal, Paul Meyer. I heard they had a hootin hollerin time, but I can't write about it....I wasn't there doods. There's some pictures though. Oh man did we take some photos on this tour...phew!
