09/06/2003 Vanek's unfinished masterpiece.
On the way to Tampere, I loaned the Zaurus to Vanek. He types slower than molasses and the Zaurus doesn't make that any easier. Anyway, I think he got fed up with it or the batteries died or something. But... just to be complete, here's what he wrote.

WhooopA! Hup! It's Josh one more time, writing from the road to Tampere, Finland. This marks the last of the shows in the land of Finns. Last night's show was white hot in the performance dept. if a little underwhelming in the audience-checking-out-show department. A big hip show was happening next door and lots of folks were there, and milling around in other parts of the club. On an interesting sidenote: the Swedes were in town for a battle royale track and field match, and the insidence of loaded Finns wizzing literally on all sorts of major sidewalks was downright hight. Just whipping out the wangs with total dissregard for passers by, yep welcome to northeastern Europe, bro!
