09/06/2003 So close!!!
Dang... I had my little handheld computer and I managed to connect to a wireless node called "bsdjoint". I brought up the webpage that allows me to update entries, but I could never get an entry uploaded. Crud... the link was too bad, I think. So, until I get my zaurus connected, you'll have to settle for this brief entries. I've written about 10 entries, though, on the zaurus and I have pictures. So, just be patient.
Anyway, we all sorta hit the wall last night. No one had any energy and we got lost twice in Helsinki. Without Andy we are a little more helpless than we'd like to admit.
We got interviewed for Helsinki TV and they also filmed some of the show.
Each night we play, a few people will come up to us and really say some nice things. Most of the time they are musicians and that really makes us feel good. I met a cool guy from a band called Kometa. He said that he's taken the same tour we're doing now and it was the best month of his life. Taro is his name, I think.
Anyway, we're off to Tampere (sp?) today. We are driving a mini-bus pretty much. We are also driving Chainsmoker (the band we are playing with). We played with them the other night and I can tell you that their name is very applicable. So, I'm sure we'll be wheezing by the time we get there.
Then, it's off to Estonia. I'll keep in touch. We miss and love you all.
